Information about the corona crisis

Dear Crusaders,

We hope that you all are well and safe in this challenging time. Christian and I wanted to reach out with a reunion update. We are closely watching the Corona Virus situation as it evolves, at the local, state, federal and indeed global level. Given the speed at which events are unfolding, we assume that more restrictions on public gatherings and business operations are inevitable.

On March 17, Governor Northam of Virginia issued an order to indefinitely restrict public gatherings to no more than 10 people at a time. Many states have already closed down bars, restaurants, and hotels. For the time being Virginia is allowing restaurants and bars to continue operating for take out only and hotels remain open.

Christian and I are working with the hotel regarding our reservations. Our financial and contractual obligations are directly tied to state and federal restrictions. So far we are taking a “wait and see” approach about whether or not to move forward with the reunion as planned, reschedule, or cancel it outright.

We will keep you all updated as things unfold. In the meantime please feel free to post your questions and concerns here and we will respond as soon as we can.

Life seems to pass you by once you exit the young adolescent years. It can seem as if in an instance your 10th, 20th, and 40th high school reunion has came around the corner. Participating in a School reunion can not only be nostalgic but help to give you a look back to how far you came. Come and reminisce and catch up with friends and teachers from the past and share the BAHS-Spirit with us.

We are hoping for a great turnout and look forward to a spectacular “All Bonn American High School reunion”. Please mark your calendars today, and plan to join us all in. Registration is open now and you can register online and pay with a credit card. Please register before January 2020 to get the early bird discount. Paying early provides us with the cash flow to continue planning this event and it also gives us a better idea when we are reserving hotels, banquets, and activities so we hope you make the decision to attend soon.
